What kinds of eyecare issues does Eyecare on the Move handle?
Eyecare on the Move provides routine eye exams only. Eye diseases like glaucoma and macular degeneration will be screened for, but not managed. You will be referred to an optometrist or ophthalmologist for management of these conditions. If you are having flashes, floaters or sudden vision loss, please go to the emergency room. or call your local eye doctor.
Do you take insurance?
At this time, we are accepting private pay patients only.
Can I order eyeglasses through you?
We do not currently offer this service. In the future, we hope to expand our services to include glasses ordering and delivery.
Can I make an appointment to get contact lenses?
If you currently already wear contacts, we can update or renew an existing prescription, as well as check for any contact-related health issues. If you are brand new to contacts, you will need to set up an appointment with your local eye doctor.
How can I apply to receive a free eye exam?
Eyecare on the Move will donate 1 free eye exam to an individual in need for every 10 eye exams provided in the community at regular price.
